Scotland’s music industry is a cornerstone of our culture, yet the grassroots beginnings for these artists are fraught with challenges. Through market research we identified a lack of affordable rehearsal spaces, professional recording equipment and a community to bring artists together.
With the UK’s grassroots music sector already providing over £500 million pounds to the economy, we want to empower Scotland’s artists to get a head start.
That is why we created Space for Sound. Our business will fulfil the needs of many artists struggling across the North East. Providing people of all ages, a high quality, affordable music studio, workshops and rehearsal spaces.
We offer a wide variety of musical services catered to people of all ages.
Accessible rehearsal rooms providing an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and social cohesion.
High-end recording, rehearsal and production facilities available for commercial hire.
We will deliver a variety of workshops, masterclasses, and one-to-one lessons facilitated by experienced professionals.
We take unloved and very loved instrument donations, fix them up and re-gift to those in need.
