Space for Sound is an independent music studio located in Aberdeen, Scotland. We offer large rehearsal areas for bands and groups, music / podcast recording facilities and exciting opportunities for all.
Space for Sound delivers a welcoming space in the form of several rehearsal rooms, podcast rooms, music equipment lending and guidance.
We aim to deliver a year-round program of music lessons, “Try an Instrument” sessions, masterclasses, podcasting labs, and community showcases.
We provide instruments, recording equipment, and creative spaces, removing financial and logistical barriers. Our intergenerational approach encourages collaboration across age groups, while our digital outputs (like a year-end compilation and showcase) give participants a platform to share their work.
Our business model not only builds skills but also fosters confidence, connection, and community pride.
